Bangalore, Oct 26 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka&South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Udupi, Lakkavalli 4 each Mudibidre, Somwarpet, Shivani, Arsikere, M.M.Hills 3 each; Linganamakki, Panchanahalli, T.Narsipura, C.N.Halli, Tiptur 2 each; Belthangadi, Dharmasthala, Madapura, Tarikere, Belur, Yelandur, Kollegal, Mulbagal, Doddaballapura, Gubbi, H.B.Halli, Mysore, Chikmagalur 1 each.
Maximum temperatures rose at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka; however appreciably below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka Minimum temperatures rose at many places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka&South Interior Karnataka. They were normal over the State.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 32.1 degree celsius and Mysore recorded lowest minimum temperature of 18.0 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
