Kottayam, Oct 26 (UNI) BJP Kerala Secretary B Radhakrishna Menon today alleged that the incident, in which a police officer was killed, at NSS College in Changanacherry was part of the CPI(M)'s violent politics.

Addressing a press conference here along with RSS leader Sankar Ram to condemn the incident, he alleged that the SFI and CITU were instigating violence in all colleges affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University.

Referring to the Home Minister's charge that ABVP and Sangh Parivar organisations were behind the incident, they alleged that the CPI(M) was trying to put the blame on them.

They alleged that the Kottayam Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) had colluded with the CPI(M) and was implicating the ABVP in the incident.

The DSP was behind the arrest of many innocent ABVP, RSS and BMS leaders in connection with the incident, they alleged and demanded suspension of the DSP and a comprehensive inquiry by a central agency into the incident.

A hartal would be organised in the district tomorrow to protest against the SFI, which was behind the incident.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had announced a solatium of Rs six lakh to the police officer's family.
