Subhash Ghai's 'Black n White' tackles terrorism

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) After a marathon shooting session of his much talked about movie ''Yuvraaj'' in Austria, Subhash Ghai is ready with yet another directorial venture titled ''Black&White''.

The movie completed its last schedule on October 22 in Mumbai.

Speaking to reporters here, Mr Ghai said the movie is on the burning issue of terrorism. ''It's a story of a terrorist and his journey to accomplish his only mission in life. A journey that lasts for 15 days, that changes his life.'' This social thriller stars Anil Kapoor playing an Urdu professor, Shefali Shah, and introduces newcomers from FTTI Pune, Anurag Sinha, playing a suicide bomber and Aditi Sharma as the lead pair.

Sukhvinder Singh has given the music, lyrics are by Ibrahim Ashq and screenplay by Akash Khurana and Sachin Bhowmick.

Music is set to release in November and movie by end of January, he added.

Mr Ghai is celebrated the 29th anniversary of his banner Mukta Arts Limited yesterday. Apart from ''Black&White'', he is producing and directing a musical multi-starrer ''Yuvraaj''. The filmmaker has already announced projects with Abbas-Mustan and Anurag Basu and a Marathi film ''Kaande Pohe'' under his banner.

''Black&White'' and ''Yuvraaj'' mark the return of the filmmaker into direction after a long hiatus. His last directorial venture ''Kisna'' was a box office disaster.

Recently, he has sold the rights of his 1980 blockbuster ''Karz'' to T-series which is remaking it with Himesh Reshamiya playing the lead role essayed by Rishi Kapoor in the original.
