Bangalore, Oct 25 (UNI) Seven people, including a woman and a child, were killed and 18 others injured in two road accidents today in Karnataka.
Police said four people were killed and a person was injured when a tomato-laden tempo rammed into a stationary truck near Soolibele, on the outskirts of the city.
While Bayyareddy (40), Konappa (22), Venkatarayappa (32) and Oam (55) were killed on the spot, the seriously injured driver was admitted to the government hospital.
In other incident, three people, including a woman and her one-year-old child, were killed and 17 others sustained injuries when their jeep collided with a speeding truck near Benakal in Koppal district, about 600 km from here.
The injured were admitted to government hospitals in Bellary and Gangavathi.
