SBI Card introduces 'Paycash' mode of cash payment

Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) SBI Card, a joint venture between SBI and GE Money, today announced India's first credit card 'Paycash' payment option for its customers through Easy Bill payment outlets in India.

This facility will enable SBI Card customers to make direct cash payment for their outstandings at 3,500 available Easy Bill merchant outlets throughout India.

Speaking on the initiative, SBI Cards and Payment Services CEO Roopam Asthana said, ''At SBI Card, it is our constant endeavour to provide greater value proposition to our customers each time. This initiative of making payments easier is yet another step towards enhancing customer satisfaction, which is top priority at SBI Card.'' ''SBI Card, the second largest credit card issuer in the country with 3.5 million card holders, has grown at an impressive compounded annual growth rate of 45 per cent on spends and assets since 2000,'' Mr Asthana added.
