Patna, Oct 25 (UNI) Taking strong exception to 'sinister designs', resorted to by the RJD to draw crowds for its rally here on October 28, the JD(U) today asked the former's party workers to desist from playing tricks with people's minds.

Alleging that its workers were creating a 'fear psychosis' among a particular caste saying that the Nitish Kumar government was adamant to wipe out their very existence in Bihar, National spokesman of the JD(U) Shivanand Tiwari told newspersons here that in a desperate bid to ensure that large numbers of people attended its rally, the RJD was playing all kinds of dirty games to garner support for the rally. ''Every political party has the right to organise rally but the way RJD was trying to pull the crowd for the event was objectionable,'' he maintained.

Citing figures, Mr Tiwari said the NDA had 20 MLAs from the Yadav community, while the Nitish Kumar cabinet had four such members, which was a clear indication of the fact that RJD was 'miscampaigning to garner the support of the particular caste' for the rally.

Several present and former members of the Phulwarisharif municipal body led by its vice-chairman Taslima Rizvi, owing allegiance to RJD, joined the JD(U) on the occasion.
