Delhi Assy Speaker pays tribute to Maharishi Valmiki

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Prem Singh today paid tribute to great social reformer and saint Maharishi Valmiki, on the eve of his birth anniversary.

At a function here, Ch Prem Singh also flagged off a tableaux, wherein the characters of Ramayana were displayed.

The Assembly Speaker said Maharishi Valmiki in his epic Ramayana had presented Lord Rama as 'Maryada Purushottam'-- the greatest among human beings.

''His creation will always inspire the people to follow the great ideals presented by different characters in his epic,''Ch Prem Singh said.
