New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) The schedule for the winter session of Parliament would be decided in two or three days, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said today.
The tentative dates would be finalised in consultation with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who heads the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, Mr Dasmunsi told reporters.
Mr Mukherjee would return from China this evening.
The schedule would then be put up before the committee for approval and forwarded to President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, who would summon the session, the Minister said.
He, however, refused to talk about the likely dates. There have been reports that the session may be advanced in view of the assembly elections in Gujarat, slated for December 11 and 16.
