Band Party member gets bullet injuries in marriage party

Phagwara, Oct 25 (UNI) A band party member sustained serious bullet injuries, when someone fired during a marriage party celeberations here last night.

According to reports received here today, Harbhajan Singh of Nawanpind village, who was a member of a band party, sustained serious bullet injuries, when somebody fired during a marriage party celeberations before Lilly Resorts last night. The injured band man was immediately sent to DMC Hospital in Ludhiana.

Police is investigating the matter that whether anybody had opened fire in the air or intentionally fired upon the victim.

Meanwhile, in another incident of firing, two persons were shot at and injured near JCT Mills Flyover during a scuffle between them.

It was learnt that both injured were going in their own cars, but suddenly they stopped their cars and fired upon each other. Both the injured were admitted to Ludhiana hospital.

Police is investigating the matter to find out the causes of firing, but personal enimity was said to be the cause of incident, police said.
