3237 kg illegal firecrackers seized in two raids

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) The Delhi police have recovered over 3000 Kg of illegal firecrackers in two different raids in the city.

In the first raid, 1915 kg of illegal firecrackers were recovered from a godown in Surajmal Vihar in East Delhi and the owner of the godown Joginder Nath Sahni was arrested.

In another case, 1322 kg of illegal crackers were recovered from a tempo fron near Shanti Van chowk. The owners of the parcel of crackers Amit Kumar Jain was arrested.' A case has been registered against the three persons under the Explosives Act.

UNI
