Vice-President to visit Gwalior on Oct 26

Gwalior, MP, Oct 24 (UNI) Vice-President M Hamid Ansari would attend the Fifth Convocation of local Lakshmibai National Physical Education Institute (LNPEI) as chief guest on October 26.

LNPEI Vice-Chancellor Major General (Retd) S N Mukherjee told reporters here that Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar, Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would take part in the programme. He said degrees of BPEd, MPEd, MPhil, PG Diploma and PhD would be conferred to students on the occasion.

Besides, there was a proposal to bestow honorary degree to the Vice-President. However, it was pending for approval.

A three-day seminar on the topic approach in healing has been organised from tomorrow in view of the occasion.
