Ten coaches, engine of Dehradun Express derail

Bhopal, Oct 24 (UNI) Ten coaches and the engine of the 4309 Ujjain-Dehradun Express derailed between Guna and Ruthiyayi stations in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh this evening.

Western Central Railway's Bhopal Division Divisional Rail Manager Ashok Agrawal said nobody was hurt during the incident that took place about 150 km from Guna.

Arrangements were being made conveying passengers to Guna via road and special train. Besides, food and other arrangements for the passengers were being made.

Mr Agrawal said passengers could seek refund and obtain it immediately.

The cause for the accident was not known. Train driver said the coaches and engine derailed after suffering a strong jolt.

Mr Agrawal and other senior railway officials reached the spot.

Arrangement would be made for conveying passengers to their destination from Guna.
