Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) Nick, one of the fastest growing kids entertainment channels in India, today announced the launch of its grand promotion with ''Nick Chakde Ninja''.
The four-week promotion will culminate with ten lucky winners from India, joining one of their favourite Nick toon stars.
Ninja Hattori and former cricketer Ajay Jadeja will cheer the Team India at Gwalior on November 15 as they take on Pakistan in one of the matches in the Indo-Pak ODI Series.
Speaking to UNI, Ajay Jadeja said, ''It is a great feeling to be associated with Nick as my son is a huge fan. Yes, my son will be with me in Gwalior and I will pay for his ticket. There is nothing like the feeling of taking your child for a game.'' Speaking on the sidelines about the Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's boys, who have been making magic on the field, Jadeja said, ''This is one of the best things that could have happened. The Aussies were considered invincible but Dhoni's boys have proved that they are the real world champions. Every game has its ups and downs but if you can play the game well and be consistent, confidence will come in. I like the current crop. Of course Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthapa have been around but I really like Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. They have something special.'' Apart from the ten winners and their parents who win a chance to watch an India-Pakistan ODI match live, thousands of other kids also stand to win other prizes. There are 26 TV sets, 50 mobile phones and 1000 Nick note books to be won.
''Nick 'Chak De Ninja' promotion is based on Nick's basic premise that all kids are equal and therefore all kids who participate in this promotion have an equal chance of making it into Ajay Jadeja and Ninja's Hattori's team. All that kids have to do is watch their favourite show Ninja Hattori every weekday between 1830 hrs and 1900 hrs and answer some basic questions,'' Nick India vice president Nina Elavia Jaipuria said while talking to newspersons.
Ninja Hattori and Ajay Jadeja will also promote the contest in Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigrah, Ahmedabad and Indore.
