Indo-US nuclear deal to aid industrial development: Scindia

Guna, MP, Oct 24 (UNI) Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has described the Indo-US nuclear deal as advantageous and pointed out that it would help in solving power crisis besides providing momentum to industrial development.

Mr Scindia, while addressing a public meeting here yesterday, said availability of adequate power would reduce dependence on petroleum products.

Alleging that the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government had failed in water, roads and electricity sectors, he said people have become fed up with problems.

He said he was making efforts for clearance of a Rs 6 crore-project to resolve water crisis in Chanderi -- famous for its 'sarees' besides tourism potential.

Besides, work was in progress on Rs 150 crore Rajiv Gandhi Power Project of the Centre in Guna and Ashoknagar districts.
