Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal urged the World Bank (WB) to allot a few major projects to revamp the state's canal irrigation network and impart quality education in the state.

Mr Badal expressed this view during a meeting with World Bank Director (Quality Assurance) Prem Garg here yesterday evening.
