TN ministry reshuffled

Chennai, 0ct 23 (UNI) Reshuffling the cabinet again, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today stripped K K S S R Ramachandran of Health portfolio and appointed Backward Classes Minister M R K Panneerselvam in his place.

On the advise of the Chief Minister, Governor S S Barnala swapped the portfolios held by Mr Ramachandran and Mr Panneerselvam, an official release here said.

While allocating the subjects of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare to Mr Panneerselvam, the portfolio of Registration and Stamp Act, held by him, were reallocated to Tourism Minister Suresh Rajan, in addition to the subjects already being held by him.

Consequent to the above changes, Mr Panneerselvam was redesignated as Minister for Health, Mr Ramachandran as Minister for Backward Classes and Mr Suresh Rajan as Minsiter for Tourism and Registration.
