Milan's Kaka doubtful for Shakhtar match

MILAN, Oct 23 (Reuters) AC Milan playmaker Kaka is a slight doubt for tomorrow's Champions League Group D match at home to Shakhtar Donetsk because of a knee problem.

''We still have a day, we will see if he can recover or not,'' coach Carlo Ancelotti told a news conference today.

The 25-year-old was rested from Sunday's 1-0 defeat by Empoli after returning from Brazil's 5-0 win over Ecuador in last Wednesday's World Cup qualifier.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said Kaka was fine yesterday after reports of a knock picked up on international duty.

The absence of Kaka would be a big blow to the Champions League holders, who are enduring a poor season and lost 2-1 at Celtic in their last Group D game.
