Bangalore, Oct 22 (UNI) Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, as part of its tactical promotional airfare, today announced waiver of 80 per cent on next business class ticket to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, South Asia Regional Manager Christopher Yek Hua Hong said today.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that this new product was aligned with the Malaysia Airlines current flight enhancement from Bangalore gateway.
On purchase of one business class ticket, the traveler can avail an attractive waiver of 80 per cent on the next business class ticket valid from November 15, he added.
The Airlines will now operate four weekly flights on Saturdays from November from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur with total seat capacity of 1168 per week. It includes 168 business class and 1000 economy class.
He said that Bangalore is fast emerging as the prominent international gateway for Malaysia Airlines-India operations, particularly beyond Kuala Lumpur routes.
"Our load factor from Bangalore has positively increased by ten per cent as compared to last year," he said.
The Airlines is ready to enhance its presence in the Bangalore gateway to cater to the burgeoning IT and business traffic from this region, he said.
With Malaysia Airlines, new flight enhancement from Chennai and Bangalore gateways, the Airlines will now operate 30 weekly flights from its present five in India comprising New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderbad, he said.
The Airlines will now offer seven flights per week from New Delhi and Mumbai, nine weekly flights from Chennai, four flights from Bangalore and three flights from Hyderabad, he said.
