Kapil Kumar shines on opening day of NCR Cup

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Kapil Kumar shot a superb three under par 69 to lead the field on the opening day of the NCR golf tournament here today.

He was closely followed by Arshdeep Tiwana, who came in with a two under par card of 70, while, Rashid Khan and Aditya Singh played some consistent golf to post 71 and 72 respectively.

A total field of 75 players started the event, and after two rounds a cut will be applied where the top 45 golfers will qualify to win prizes.

Other leading scores are as follows: Kapil Kumar (69), Arshdeep Tiwana (70), Rashid Khan (71), Aditya Singh (72), Moin Malik(74), Rudresh Sharma (74), Pawan Kumar (74).
