Junagadh, Gujarat, Oct 23 (UNI) In a shoking incident here, a man pledged his mother and sister in a gambling frenzy and later lost the game.

Five persons were gambling at Bhatia Dharmshala in Junagadh last Sunday and Jaykumar Manubhai Parekh was one of them. He was losing the game badly. When he went broke, he pledged his mother and married sister in the game.

After losing the game, one of the winners insisted that Jay must surrender his mother and sister, who was staying with her parents after a tiff with her in-laws, to the winners.

In the commotion that ensued, BJP Corporator Vijay Vora tried to act as a mediator and took control of the situation before things could turn ugly.

Finally, when police arrived, it was decided that no complaint would be filed against anyone.
