Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) The first batch of Haj pilgrims from the Kashmir valley would depart here for Jeddah on November 11, it was announced today.
The departure schedule will continue for 30 days.
During the first 15 days, there would be only one flight from here to Jeddah. And for the next 15 days, two flights would operate from here.
The pilgrims have been asked to report at the newly constructed Haj House at Bemina at 0530 hrs.
The first Haj flight is scheduled to leave from the Srinagar Airport for Jeddah at 1030 hrs.
A high-level meeting here discussed arrangements for Haj pilgrims, including reception, refreshment, heating, transportation of baggage, immigration clearance, custom clearance, distribution of foreign exchange besides wearing of 'Ahram'.
