Vadodara, Oct 23 (UNI) The BJP will be focusing on three vital issues in the forthcoming Gujarat assembly polls, the party's National General Secretary Om Mathur said today.
Addressing mediapersons here, Mr Mathur, who is also incharge of Gujarat affairs, said the BJP was committed to providing clean administration to the state, taking up development programmes and providing security to the people.
He criticised the Congress leaders using 'undignified' language while talking about Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying that it was in bad taste. ''The Congressmen should refrain from doing so'', he said.
Mr Mathur said a survey was being done by the party on all the 182 seats and winning chances of candidates and three national BJP leaders and three state level senior leaders were involved in the exercise.
To a question whether Mr Modi would be contesting from Raopura seat in Vadodara city, Mr Mathur said he will be sticking to his Maninagar seat. ''There is no question of Mr Modi shifting to any other seat,'' he added.
