Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) As part of the ongoing efforts to increase Tourism from India to Switzerland, the Switzerland Tourism Board today hosted a comprehensive programme that focused on the travel trade.
Speaking on the occasion, Switzerland Tourism Director Federico Sommaruga said,'Switzerland Travel Experience' was one of the many events that were meant to educate the travel trade through presentations and interactive workshops.
The event would serve as a good platform to talk about the latest Swiss tourism products and also to renew old contacts with the travel and trade sector and media in India.
Switzerland''s national carrier, Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) would also be introducing a new daily service between Zurich and Delhi with an Airbus A330 aircraft, beginning November 25.
In 2008, India and Switzerland would celebrate the 60th anniversary of the friendly treaty agreement between the two countries, he added.
