New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) The winter session of Parliament will discuss the Indo-US nuclear deal, sources said here today.
The session is expected to begin in the middle of next month.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who is also the Leader of the House in the Lok Sabha, referred to the forthcoming session of Parliament in the UPA-Left panel meeting today, the sources said.
He told the meeting that he would talk to all the political parties regarding the date of the commencement of the session, the sources added.
The Left parties have been demanding a debate on the nuclear accord but the issue could not be taken up for discussion during the Monsoon session of Parliament due to disruption of the House proceedings by the BJP-led Opposition on various issues, including internal security and price rise.
