Nine killed in road accident

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 22 (UNI) Nine people, including five women, were killed and five others injured today when their van collided head on with a State-owned bus near Vadisalaru village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

Police said the van was proceeding from Kakinada to Rajahmundry, while the bus was bound for Kakinada from Vijayawada.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
