Bangalore, Oct 22 (UNI) The Andhra Bank has selected Hewlett-Packard (HP) India, as its partner of choice for implementing a comprehensive Core Banking Solution (CBS).
HP in a release here said Infosys' Finacle Core Banking Solution would be deployed over a five-year period. The initiative would enable the Bank achieve significant cost advantages and better business outcome in the competitive banking arena in the country.
Under the terms of the contract, HP would implement and manage CBS across the Bank's branches. The CBS implementation using HP OpenBank Reference Architecture on HP's computing technology would help customers access its products and services on a 24 x 7 basis.
HP would provide Adaptive Infrastructure based on HP Integrity Servers, HP BladeSystems, HP Storage and Software. Also included were Data Centre Services to help mitigate risk, improve security and lower management and operational costs for the Bank and provide the foundation for a flexible and scaleable IT architecture that could grow seamlessly in pace with growing business need.
In addition, HP would implement Delivery Channels, Risk Management and Compliance, Asset Liability Management and Credit Appraisal Solutions.
