Electolux launches three refrigerators

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) With the festivity in the air, consumer durable manufacturer Electrolux today launched three refrigerators -- 310 litres, 340 litres and 280 litres 3 door deo fresh frost free refrigerator--priced at Rs 23,990, Rs 28,990 and Rs 24,990.

''Elctrolux which hold eight per cent market share in refrigerators is optimistic of achieve above 11 per cent this year,'' Electrolux Divison Chief Operating Officer Eric Braganza told reporters.

Among various other features the new refrigerators has Deo fresh technology which keeps the food fresh by keeping the odour way.

The company also announced the launch of its festive offer, offering gift items with every purchase of Electolux appliance.

''We are expecting a sales of over 1,50,000 units with a 20 per cent increase over the last year,'' Mr Braganza said.

During this festive season, the company will pump in Rs six crore on various marketing activities, he added.

The new offer, valid for both october and november, covers all the state cross the country including Kerala.

The company which clocked a turnover of 500 crore in 2006-07 is optimistic of earning a revenue of Rs 600 crore this financial year.

Electolux which operates in major appliance business like refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines and air conditioners operates through 32 branch offices across the country.

In 2005, Videocon bought Electrolux Kelvinator, the Indian arm of Sweden-based AB Electrolux, and the process of amalgamation of the two companies were completed in July 2006.
