BJP flays Left for 'lackadaisical attitude' on nuke deal

Agra, Oct 22 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh lambasted the Left parties for their 'lackadaisical attitude' on the Indo-US nuclear deal issue.

Addressing the newspersons here yesterday, Mr Singh blamed the Left for playing double standards on the nuclear deal.

''On one hand, Left was protesting the deal, while on the other, they were supporting the UPA government at the Centre,'' he quipped.

All this is only marring the work of the central government, the BJP leader noted.

There was an increase in terrorist activities in the neighbouring countries, of which nearby 70,000 people have been affected.

Commenting on the police recruitment scam in UP, Mr Singh said '' The annullment of 18,000 cops is not justified.'' The CBI should probe into the matter, he demanded.
