5 killed, 4 injured in truck tempo collision in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh, Oct 21 (UNI) As many as five persons were killed and four others injured in a collision between a truck and tempo near Phutoli on the outskirts of the city this evening.

Police sources said nine members of a family were going back home int he tempo when their vehicle collided with a speeding truck.

Four members of the family, including a woman and a girl and the driver of tempo died on the spot.

Four injured, were rushed to Udaipur for treatment, the police said.

The driver and cleaner of the truck were beaten up by the mob gathered after accident and blocked traffic on the road for a shortwhile.
