14 killed in road accidents in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Oct 21 (UNI) As many as 14 people were killed and an equal number injured in three road accidents in different districts of Rajasthan today.
A report from Chittorgarh said seven people were killed and two injured in a collision betweeen a truck and a tempo near Phutoli this evening.
Police sources said the tempo was carrying back home nine members of a family after their visit to a religious place in Phutoli near here when it slammed into a speeding truck.
Five members of the family, including a woman and a girl, and the driver of tempo were killed.
Three injured, including a woman, were rushed to Udaipur for treatment, police said.
Another report from Churu said four peole were killed and three other injured in a head-on collision between two Jeeps near Lakhsar village in the district this afternoon .
Report received from Sikar claimed that three people were killed and nine injured when their Jeep overturned near Katrathal. The injured were admitted to the Kalyan Hospital in Sikar where the condition of three was stated to be critical.
