Vijayawada, Oct 20: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Jana Shakti(BJS) President Uma Bharati today alleged that the Pakistan Government was behind the suspected suicide attack at Karachi, in which Pakistan people's Party(PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto narrowly escaped. Talking to newspersons here this evening, she alleged that the Pakistan Government has created the ''Basmasura'', where a minimum of 140 people were killed and several hundreds injured on the midnight of Thursday.

Ms Bharati alleged that Pakistan had created terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir in order to continue in power, but it would boomerang on them.

''The day is not far away when Pakistan would take India's assistance in combating terrorism on their soil and it should be aware that Kashmir problem would not be solved, as long as terrorism prevails in Pakistan,'' she added.

The BJS leader expressed her solidarity with the people of Pakistan and conveyed her sympathy to Ms Bhutto.
