Jalandhar, Oct 20 (UNI) More than 40 party workers from Congress, SAD (Badal) and BSP joined Lok Bhalai Party (LBP) here today.
Welcoming the new members in his party fold, LBP president Balwant Singh Ramoowalia, during a press conference said the workers, are form the backbone of any party, have started joining Lok Bhalai Party, as they were not satisfied with the working of their senior leaders.
''These workers believe that their party leaders are responsible for the problems, which the state is facing today,'' Mr Ramoowalia added.
He said party has chalked out an 11-point programme, which consists of issues related to umemployment, providing quidance to youth for employment, solving problems of dalits and providing justice to backward classes.
He said that he would be responsible for this programme whereas, the issues related to foreign countries like women deserted by their NRI husbands, fake travel agents and other issues that the party had taken up earlier, would be taken care by a seven-member committee.
