One dead, six injured as call centre cab overturns

One
person
was
killed
and
six
others
injured
after
a
call
centre
vehicle
overturned
at
Lado
Sarai
in
South
Delhi
this
morning,
police
said.
At about 0900 hours, a Tata Sumo vehicle carrying employees of a call centre, overturned near a DDA Park at Lado Sarai hitting seven employees of the DDA who were drinking tea at a tea stall on the pavement.
While one person died, the other six were admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
DDA employee Mehar Chand was declared brought dead at the hospital while his six colleagues - Gajraj, Ranbir, Babloo, Narender, Ragaz Ram and Sareen - were admitted to the AIIMS, police said.
The driver of the Tata Sumo, Virender, has been arrested.
