No security lapse at Bhutto's motorcade
Islamabad, Oct 20 (UNI) The allegations of a security lapse at Karachi suicide blasts were baseless, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Political Affairs and President of PML NWFP Amir Muqam said today.
Addressing a public meeting in Nowshera, the minister said the allegations were irresponsible and irrational as the government had provided maximum security to the motorcade of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
He said the government had made elaborate security arrangements, the APP reported.
He further said the blasts would badly taint the image of Pakistan and Islam in the international scenario.
