Golden deed: Insulted seer apologises

Katni, MP, Oct 20 (UNI) In a golden deed, a Sindhi seer sought to sort out a dispute and dispel tension this morning by reaching the residence of one of the three people who insulted him yesterday at a bhoomi pujan function in this district headquarters.

Apologising to the perpetrator's father, Ishwar Shah said, ''I harbour no illwill. In fact, if I have somehow hurt the trio, I apologise from the bottom of my heart.'' The family was stunned and then their heads bowed in reverence.

Sindhis took to the streets in protest yesterday and an undeclared bandh was observed in Sindhi-dominated Madhav Nagar.
