Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray will address Shiv Sainiks at Shivaji Park tomorrow on the occasion of Dassera, maintaining the over four-decade-long tradition.
Mr Thackeray has been avoiding public meetings due to his failing health and has attended only two public meetings this year. The first meeting was at Shanmukhananda Hall on the occasion of Shiv Sena's formation day and the other was when he addressed the rally following the Sena's win in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections this year.
The Shiv Sena patriarch had skipped the Dassera rally last year due to rains and ill health.
Tomorrow's rally is expected to be a show of strength for Uddhav Thackeray, the working president of the Shiv Sena, after Narayan Rane and Raj Thackeray left the party.
