Bhind(MP), Oct 20 (UNI) Two builders, abducted from Rajkot, Gujarat, a fortnight ago, have been freed and four criminals arrested, police said today.

Police said Taqdeer Bhai(43) and Pratish Bhai were lured by Bhind-resident Rajendra Singh Bhadoria with a promise to provide them bullion at cheaper rate and both were kept in captivity in the forest near Bharouli in Bhind district.

Rajendra and his accomplices contacted Taqdeer Bhai's residence on phone to demand ransom of Rs three lakh. As Taqdeer Bhai did not return after considerable time, his relatives informed the Gujarat police, which in turn contacted the Bhind police on the basis of the PCO telephone number through which the abductors contacted them.

Police said Rajendra, who was told to contact a PCO to collect the ransom, was detained and his accomplices Deepak Dube, Ranvir Singh and Bhole Parmar were also arrested. All arrested were taken to Rajkot, Superintendent of Police Niranjan Vayangadkar said.
