Patna, Oct 18 (UNI)State Congress today welcomed the inclination of Chairman and Managing Director(CMD) of Reliance group of industries Mukesh Ambani for investment in Bihar.
Chief spokesman of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) Prem Chandra Mishra said here it was really a good news for Bihar that Mr Ambani was exploring the possibilities of investment in the state.'' The assertion of Mr Ambani to invest in rural areas would give a boost in agriculture sector and bring cheers to the farmers'', he said adding the state government should make efforts to tap this opportunity.
''Earlier CMDs of top industrial groups of the country including Tatas, Mahindras and Max had expressed their willingness to make investment in Bihar but Nitish Kumar government failed to encash those opportunities'', Mr Mishra lamented and urged the NDA government to focus on improvement in infrastructural facilities to attract investment from outside the state.
''Poor law and order situation is another area of concern which needs to be given to priority by the state government'', he said and wondered how could any industrial hoses think of investing in Bihar if there was no security to life and properties.
