Two killed in Iran army helicopter crash - report
TEHRAN, Oct 18 (Reuters) An Iranian army helicopter crashed in Kermanshah province bordering Iraq today, killing both people on board, Iran's ISNA news agency reported.
It said the cause of the crash was not yet known.
Kermanshah, which has a large Iranian Kurdish population, lies south of Kurdistan province, where there have been occasional clashes with separatist guerrillas. Smugglers of fuel and other contraband operate in the area.
Last month, Iranian media said seven Iranian policemen were killed in a clash with bandits in Kermanshah province.
