Hyderabad, Oct 18 (UNI) Tanla Solutions, a leading telecommunications software and services provider with worldwide operations has recorded a sequential growth of 17.9 per cent in total revenues and its net profits were up by 10.5 per cent in the second quarter ended September 30.
In a release here today, Company Chairman Uday Reddy said there had been accelerated growth in revenues and profitability with consolidated total income of Rs 111.42 crore (up from Rs 94.51 crore in Q1) and net profit of Rs 36.74 crore (up from Rs 33.26 crore in Q1).
The cost of sales had fallen from 48.9 per cent to 44.4 per cent as a result of increased platform capabilities, R and D and better cash management.
He said ''we have expanded our operations into North America and Asia Pacific by setting up new subsidiaries in Singapore and the US.
In Q2, Tanla was shortlisted for two high profile industry awards including the 'Best New Market Entrant' by the UK Department of Trade and Investment and also for the 'Best Billing Service Provider' by Mobile Entertainment Magazine, UK.
