Bangalore, Oct 18: Talwalkars, the country's leading brand and fitness centres, proposes to open 50 more centres through out the countries to take its total number to 100 within next two years, Talwalkar's Chairman Madhukar Talwalkar said today.
Talking to newsmen here he said that at present there are over 45 branches functioning across the major cities in the country and this number would touch century within next two years. "We are looking at expanding at a very fast pace and would open more centres. We are also facilitating the fitness movement by marketing high quality fitness equipment and accessories at the best prices", he added.
He said that "spreading fitness has been our motto since 1932.
We are today the largest chain of health and fitness centres in the country and the second largest in Asia.", he claimed.
Director Girish Talwalkar, who was also present, said that a Research and Development department was established to improve health programs designed to cater to individual requirements.
Earlier, World Billiards and Snooker Champion Pankaj Advani inaugurated Talwalkars 45th Centre.
