SP leader Chandra Nath Singh resigns, joins BSP

Jaunpur, Oct 18 (UNI) Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and a close associate of Party General Secreatry Amar Singh, Chandra Nath Singh, has joined Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

Former MP from Machlishahr assembly seat in this district, Mr Singh today told UNI on telephone, '' I resigned from the SP membership due to party's wrong policies and joined BSP yesterday.'' Mr Singh was elected to the seat after defeating BSP candidate Ram Vilas Vedanti in 1999 Lok Sabha election.
