Bhopal, Oct 18 (UNI) Toshi, who has reached the final seven in the STAR Plus reality music show 'Voice of India', feels that the system of SMS voting has as many drawbacks as benefits.

''It will be wrong to say that SMS is not proper for assessing singing talent as it provides an opportunity to upcoming talent,'' she told reporters here today. Toshi is visiting the City of lakes along with Abhas, Priyani and Ishmat who are also in the last stage.

Toshi was knocked out of contest but secured a wildcard re-entry.

Jabalpur's Abhas, who also got a wildcard re-entry, and Indore's Priyani believe that SMS voting can lead to major upsets but that is part of the game and should be accepted.

''Talent is the sole parameter for an artist who wishes to have a long innings,'' agrees Priyani in response to a query.

When pointed out that music director Ismail Durbar alleged bungling in SMS voting after final results were declared on Zee's 'Sa Re Ga Ma' music reality show -- in which Durbar was one of the judges -- Toshi claimed that there was no apprehansion of that in 'Voice of India'. Others in the 'Voice of India' final seven are Harshit, Abhilasha and Irfan.
