Jammu, Oct 18 (UNI) BJP Jammu and Kashmir president Ashok Khajuria today accused that National Panthers Party of taking steps which were detrimental to the Jammu province.
In a press release here this evening, Mr Khajuria said although Panthers Party Chairman Prof Bhim Singh talked about development and integration of the Jammu province and the state with the rest of the country, he was not acting upon his words.
''For the first time the Jammu candidates dominated the list of selected KAS candidates, but Prof Singh went to the Supreme Court and obtained a stay. The candidates belonging to Jammu province captured 97 of the 132 KAS positions,'' he added.
''Prof Singh says that the parties like the PDP are promoting and patroniSing terrorists...it is more than true that it is Prof Singh who has not only secured the release of hard-core militant Bitta Karate, who is responsible for the massacre of dozens of Kashmiri Hindus, but also pleading the cases of the detained militants in the Supreme Court. This should expose his double speak and establish that his role is dubious.'' The people of Jammu province must take cognizance of what Prof Singh has been doing to harm Jammu province and the nation, he added.
