Pakistan denies Indian allegations
Islamabad, Oct 18 (UNI) Pakistan today rejected and called the allegations by India's National Security Adviser M K Narayanan, involving ISI in Ludhiana, Ajmer and Mecca Masjid blasts, as 'baseless'.
''Allegations about the so-called attempts by Pakistan to build up a radical Sikh environment, are also baseless,'' the foreign office said.
Indian officials are in the unfortunate habit of making such unfounded allegations whenever a violent incident occurs in their country, it added.
The timing of these allegations is especially regrettable because they could vitiate the atmosphere on the eve of bilateral talks on Confidence-Building Measures taking place in New Delhi, it further said.
