Omega Healthcare to invest USD 14 million in India

Bangalore, Oct 18 (UNI) Omega Healthcare, a leading provider of Healthcare Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) and Knowledge Processing Outsourcing (KPO), will invest over US Dollar 14 million to expand its Bangalore and Chennai facilities.

Talking to newspersons here today, Omega Healthcare Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Gopi Natarajan said India had world class talent and the company was well positioned to tap the tremendous opportunities in the healthcare BPO and KPO space.

The company plans to increase its employee base to 3500 in the next two years and expected a growth of 75 per cent in the next two years, he said.

The outsourcing was a growing market in the US and only six per cent of the healthcare outsourcing was tapped, he said.

Company Executive Vice President Anurag Mehta said that of the 50 US-based clients it had, six of them were top 20 medical billing companies.
