Bangalore, Oct 18 (UNI) Omega healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare Business Processing Outsourcing and Knowledge Processing Outsourcing, will invest over US Dollars 14 million to expand its Bangalore and Chennai facilities and increase its employee base to 3500 in the next two years.
Announcing this to newsmen here Company Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Gopi Natarajan said India had world class talent and the company was well positioned to tap the tremendous opportunities in the healthcare BPO and KPO space. The company offered medical coding and complaince, accounts receivables analysis and management and reconciliation services. The company had a strength of 1200, including 750 in Bangalore centre.
Replying to queries he said the company expected 75 per cent growth from the existing clients in the next two years besides the new clients. The outsourcing was a growing market in the US and now only six per cent of the healthcare was tapped, he revealed saying there was tremendous potential in the sector.
Executive Vice President Anurag Mehta, who was also present, said with over 50 US based clients, six of which were top 20 medical billing companies and many of which were publicly traded, there was a need to have a high quality facility to expand the operations.
Each month the company added a new client, he revealed.
