Jewellery shop looted
Mumbai, Oct 18 (UNI) A Jewellery shop was looted of Gold worth Rs 65 lakhs at Dahisar in North-Mumbai today, police said.
According to the complainant Mr Hasmukh Jain, owner of 'Vandana Jewellers' when he opened his premises at around 1000 hours this morning, he found Gold Jewellery, weighing eight kgs and worth Rs 65 lakhs, missing from the cupboard, police said.
He suspected that the theft might have been committed by his former employee Kishan Singh, who was sacked by him recently.
Police have registered a case of robbery and spread a dragnet to apprehend the culprit.
