India outplayed by Korea 0-3 in MWG men's volleyball

Hyderabad, Oct 18 (UNI) India lost 0-3 to formidable Korea Republic in men's volleyball super league match of the 4th Military World Games here today.

The hosts, who qualified for the four-team league after beating Brazil 3-1 in last Group B match yesterday, put up a spirited performance against the last Games' bronze medalist rivals but lost 15-25, 23-25, 19-25.

Korea's dominance was never in doubt throughout the match but to the credit of the Indians they threatened to take the second set from their more fancied rivals only to falter at the crucial points.

India play China tomorrow before taking Qatar next day.
