New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Police have arrested the leader of an international gang of extortionists who were operating in India and Nepal.
Milan Lama, head of the International Black Spider Group, was arrested after a complaint was received from a prominent businessman of Nepal he received an extortion call on his mobile. The businessman regularly visits Delhi.
Lama, arrested yesterday, had demanded Rs 1 Crore as extortion and warned the businessman that if he failed to do so he would be killed, police said.
During interrogation, Lama admitted that he had called the businessman for money.
